SAG has really made a mess of things for those of us who are members of both unions. I got my AFTRA ballot today. I'm voting for the new agreement.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898586508818704981.post-65424784649388174332008-06-23T18:30:00.000-07:002008-06-23T18:30:00.000-07:00All I want to do is act!! That's how I feel. I'm voting for the AFTRA deal because it makes sense to me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898586508818704981.post-23421388864442523112008-06-23T18:27:00.000-07:002008-06-23T18:27:00.000-07:00What is going on with our unions?! I know I want to work and of course I want to earn as much as I can for the work I do, but in this economy there is only so much we can hope to gain -- and a strike certainly doesn't make the prospects for any of us working actors any brighter. Today Tom Hanks endorsed the new AFTRA contract. I'm with him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898586508818704981.post-68685848269003393652008-06-19T12:47:00.000-07:002008-06-19T12:47:00.000-07:00As a member of both unions, I don't know what to b...As a member of both unions, I don't know what to believe. It's all very confusing. If I say "no" to the AFTRA deal, it will only be because I'd like to see both unions working together to negotiate a single deal that is in the best interest of all union members. I certainly do not support the tactics and strategy that SAG is employing right now. It's disgusting, actually. I'm almost embarrassed to be a SAG member. I wish they would stop playing politics and focus on what is in the best interest of us actor members.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
